Warwick Cricket Club Youth Cricket 2012 Season
Welcome to Warwick Cricket Club Youth section
Warwick Cricket Club welcomes both boys and girls from the ages of 8 and upwards to become youth members. We provide both fun and challenging coaching sessions lead by ECB qualified coaches. The club is accredited to the prestigious ECB Clubmark standard. Our youth teams participate in the Warwickshire Cricket League and play against other teams in the south/ central Warwickshire area.
Membership is open to anyone regardless of ability. If you are not sure if cricket is for you, but are keen to find out, why not come to the club on a training night and give it a go? Our aims are for youth members to enjoy themselves, make new friends and hopefully ultimately go on to represent the senior Warwick cricket teams.

Summer Cricket Calendar
The summer programme for 2012 is as follows.
• Last Indoor nets Sunday 31/03/12 at North Leam School 1.45-2.45pm.
• Thursday 05/04/12 7-8pm Youth member Registration evening at the club.
• Outdoor training 27/04/12 to 27/07/12 every Friday night:
-Juniors (U11 and below) 5.45 – 7.00pm,
-Colts (U13 and above) 7.00 – 8.15pm.
• Sunday 02/09/12 10am Warwick Youth Awards and Fun day at the club.

Summer Cricket Calendar
The summer programme for 2011 is as follows:
• Indoor nets every Sunday at North Leamington School 1.45-2.45pm.
• 15/04/11 Youth member registration evening at the club.
• Outdoor training 29/04/11 to 29/07/11 every Friday night:
Juniors (U13 and below) 5.45 – 7.00pm, Colts (U14 and above) 7.00 – 8.15pm.
• 02/09/11 Warwick Youth Awards and Fun day.

Position Vacant
We urgently need to find either a member of the club or a willing parent to manage the U10 team this summer. The fixtures haven’t been announced yet but it’s likely there will be around six games lasting 2 hours starting in June most likely on a Monday night. The only cricketing requirement is that the manager be able to umpire or find someone else that can. The club is willing to pay for the manager to undertake the ECB level 1 cricket course at a convenient date. If you think you can help please contact Jamie Harding.

Warwick CC summer coaching programme announced
Warwick CC are pleased to announce this summer’s coaching programme. As existing Youth members will note there is a change of format from last year. In an effort to promote a more family orientated atmosphere and better integration with the senior members we have moved all coaching sessions to the Friday night.
Two sessions will run back to back. The juniors (U13 and under) will train between 5.45 and 7.00pm, the colts (U14 and above) will train between 7.00 and 8.15pm. The new improved bar will be open all evening if parents would like to come along and watch and a BBQ will be available where the weather makes it possible.

Membership rates held for 2011
You will be pleased to learn that despite the best efforts of the bankers, Warwick CC have taken the decision to hold membership fees at the 2010 level. As last year there are two payment options. New for 2011 when you pay your registration fee you will receive a free WCC club cap.
• Full membership: a one off payment of £45 in advance, or,
• Pay as you play: £15 in advanced followed by £3 per training session.
Both payment methods qualify you for a free WCC cricket cap on payment for the registration fee. Match fees as last year are £2.50 to be paid on match days.
